I emailed the Quackmeister general to ask her what the evidence for homeopathy doing, well, anything was.
Clearly, the Quackmeister general must be preparing a mountain of well-researched evidence, because she hasn't replied yet. That, or she's desperately trying to make something up. It will probably involve the words "emotional", "spiritual" and "laughing all the way to the bank".

Love the blog. I read it nearly every day, its very funny and I love hearing your views on pharmacy, which I mostly agree with but dont voice my opinion as Im not very brave. Keep up the good work.

At 2nd anonymous: I too have read your reference. I noted under section 5 covert surveillance is only justified if:
"i) for the purpose of preventing or detecting crime or for preventing disorder
ii) in the interests of public safety
iii) for the purpose of protecting public health"
Calling Christine Glover a Quack as I have just done would appear to be none of those things. Furthermore, if one feels that one may have been placed under unfair surveillance once can complain to:

BTW: I too quit community pharmacy and feel so much better for it.
Finally: I thank god that there's to be a separation of functions the Society in no way represented my views.
Yorkshirepud, points 2 and 3 are vague enough to 'get' anyone with if they so wish. I don't have enough faith in the powers that be, both at Lambeth and the government in general to believe that isn't the case.
I too quite community pharmacy and 'proper' pharmacy in general and my life has never been better. Less money tho, but more time and good stuff!
